  72. John, the problem seems to be primarily or entirely related to voice
  73. mail.  I was able to connect and transfer at 57.6 and 115.2 before I
  74. discovered the 38.4 fix; however getting the modem to initilize and
  75. dial out or answer an incoming call at the higher rates was quite
  76. another matter--it was a struggle to say the least.  Now everything
  77. seems fine at 38.4.
